Toys of Joy Giving Tree

In 2019,  twenty40 Young Professionals Group partnered with Geno’s EnterPrizes, LLC to host the 2nd Annual Toys of Joy Giving Tree. The Toys of Joy Giving Tree is a community initiative that aims to support organizations in the Americus-Sumter County community whose purpose is to provide resources to those less fortunate. In 2019, the initiative collected donated items— clothing and/or toys— to help support Sumter County Head Start and the Sumter County Department of Family and Children Services. With the help of the community, we were able to provide 22 children with either clothing or toys and/or both. We are very grateful for the kindness shown by the community. The support shown by those who donated items speaks to what the initiative is all about— the greatest gift of all is being a blessing to someone else. We hope that with the years to follow, the Toys of Joy Giving Tree will continue to bring our community together for a great cause and brighten a child’s holiday season.
